Most people who own two or three vehicles are not running a fleet, and the paperwork still behaves like one. Insurance on the car renews in March, the pollution certificate in July, the second vehicle is somewhere else entirely, and the only reminder anybody gets is a notice at a checkpost.
EduBB keeps each vehicle you own on its own record — where it is, who drove it, what it has cost you and what expires next. A family with a car and a driver uses the same screens a transporter does, just far fewer of them.
Private Vehicles fleets get
- Live location of your own vehicles on one map
- Insurance, pollution and fitness reminders before they expire
- Fuel and service history kept per vehicle
- Driver assigned, with the trips they ran
Track Your Vehicles in Real Time
Where the car is
Live position while a trip is running, from the driver app or from a fitted device. Useful the day you hand the keys to somebody else.
Vehicle Insurance, Pollution & Fitness Reminders
Papers and their expiry dates
Insurance, pollution, fitness and RC in one place, with what lapses next month on the front page.
Fuel & Mileage Tracking
Fuel and mileage
Log a fill-up in ten seconds and the mileage works itself out. Two months in you know whether the car is drinking more than it used to.
What the vehicle costs you
Fuel, service and paperwork add up to a yearly figure per car. Owners with three vehicles usually find one of them is not worth keeping.
Vehicle Service & Repair History
Service history that survives
Every service, part and workshop bill against the vehicle. It is also the thing that gets you a better price when you sell.
Driver & Trip Management
The driver you employ
Licence details, expiry and the trips they actually ran. If a car goes somewhere on a Sunday, the record says so.
FASTag & Challan Management
FASTag balance and challans
FASTag balance and toll spend per vehicle, with any challan raised on the registration number beside them. Both turn up on the record rather than in a surprise SMS.
Getting started
Four steps. Most fleets are tracking their first trips the same week they load their vehicles.
Add your vehicles
Registration number, papers and their expiry dates. Two cars take about ten minutes.
Add the driver
If somebody else drives, they get the driver app. If you drive yourself, skip this.
Log as you go
Fill-ups, services and repairs, entered when they happen rather than reconstructed later.
Let it remind you
Renewals surface before the date, not after the fine.
An owner with three cars and two drivers had been tracking insurance dates in a notebook and had missed a pollution renewal twice in two years. The dates now arrive as alerts, and the service history came in useful the month one of the cars was sold.
The features behind it
Each of these opens the part of the features page that covers it in full.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions we get asked most often by private vehicles operators.
-
Can I use EduBB for just one or two personal cars?
Yes. Nothing in the platform assumes a hundred vehicles. You add the cars you own, the papers that go with them and a driver if you employ one, and you use the parts you need. The tracking, reminders and service history work the same on two vehicles as on two hundred.
-
Do I need a GPS device fitted to my car?
Not to start. Position is reported by the driver app while a trip is running, which covers you if somebody else drives the vehicle. If you want the car tracked whether or not anyone starts a trip, fit a GPS device — we supply and install them, and EduBB takes position from the device instead.
-
Will I be told before my insurance or pollution certificate expires?
Yes. Every document is stored with its expiry date and you get alerted ahead of it, not on the day. Insurance, pollution, fitness and permit renewals all work the same way, and pending challans against the registration number show on the same record.
-
Is my family's location data private?
Location is recorded against a trip and visible only to your own account and the people you give access to. Tracking runs while a trip is running and stops when it closes, so a driver is not followed off duty. What is kept and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
Running a different kind of fleet?
Same platform. What changes is which parts of it you end up living in.
See it running on your own fleet
A demo is a walk through the console with your vehicles, routes and drivers in mind, not a generic tour. Twenty minutes and you will know whether it fits the way you already work.
