EduBB is a school-bus and fleet management platform operated by TechBySoul (“we”, “us”). EduBB Fleet Wall is a display app for Android TV devices — it turns a wall-mounted screen in a lobby, office or control room into a live fleet-tracking board for an organisation — a school or transport operator — that subscribes to EduBB.
The app is not used by an individual member of the public. It is set up once by an organisation's administrator on a TV device the organisation controls, and is designed to keep running unattended after that. The organisation is the controller of the data shown on the screen; we process it on the organisation's behalf as its service provider.
This is stored locally on the TV device. It describes the screen, not an individual person — there is one session and one configuration per physical device, the same way any other wall-mounted signage remembers its own settings.
This app does not request or collect the location of the TV device itself. It declares no location permission. The maps and tiles it shows display the position of the organisation's vehicles, as reported by the EduBB Driver app during active trips, fetched live from the organisation's EduBB account.
Once signed in, the screen fetches and displays vehicle identifiers, driver name, location, speed, heading and trip status for the organisation's fleet. This data already belongs to the organisation's own EduBB account; the app is simply a screen it is shown on, and does not collect it independently.
Device model, operating system version and app version. Server-side request logs, including IP address and time of access, are kept for security and troubleshooting. The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Each organisation's data is kept separate. A screen signed in to one organisation can never see another organisation's fleet.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access is limited to the organisation the screen is signed in to. No system is completely secure — an organisation should keep physical and network access to its kiosk devices controlled, and report any suspected unauthorised access to us.
The session token and display configuration remain on the device until the screen is signed out or factory-reset, at which point they are deleted. The app does not keep a location history of its own — it only ever shows the fleet's current, live-reported position.
This screen is set up and controlled by the subscribing organisation. To sign it out or change what it displays, contact your organisation's EduBB account owner.
To request deletion of an organisation account and the records behind it, or to raise a request directly, write to edubb@techbysoul.com. We will act on the request, or pass it to the controlling organisation, within 30 days.
This app is a display tool for organisation premises and is not directed at children. Depending on how an organisation configures it, the fleet data shown may relate to school transport, but the app itself does not collect or process children's personal data — it displays vehicle and trip status supplied by the organisation's own systems.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date above changes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
